  • Uber One is a subscription option which gives you access to benefits such as savings on Uber and Uber Eats.
    There are monthly memberships available for $9.99 and annual memberships at $96. Uber One also has partnerships with third parties that offer a discounted membership to eligible users.
    Uber One members receive a $0 Delivery Fee plus up to 10% off eligible orders on restaurants and stores marked with the Uber One icon.
    Eligible stores will have a gold Uber One icon underneath their names. The merchant storefront lists the required order minimum for benefits to apply, and may change from time to time. Taxes and additional fees which may apply to your order do not count towards the order minimums.
    They’ll also earn 6% Uber One credits on eligible rides. Look for the Uber One icon to see where your benefits apply.
    Membership savings are applied as a reduction to service fees. Other fees and exclusions may apply.

  • You can purchase an Uber One membership directly in the app.
    In the Uber Eats app:
    Tap “Account” in the lower-right corner.
    Tap “Uber One” and follow the prompts to enroll.
    Subscriptions renew automatically. The subscription fee is non-refundable once charged to you, however, you can cancel and manage your membership at any time in the app.
    Note: You must have the latest version of the app to purchase.

    $0 Delivery Fee and up to 10% off on eligible non-grocery orders of $15 or more.
    $0 Delivery Fee and 5% off on eligible grocery orders of $35 or more.

  • Your payment method can be changed at any time from the Uber One page in the Uber or Uber Eats by navigating to Uber One under “Account.” Click “Manage membership” to make changes to your payment method.
    Any Uber Cash can be used towards this recurring membership subscription. To do so, click Uber One on the Account page of the Uber or Uber Eats app, then “manage membership.” On that page, you can update payment details to have your Uber Cash turned on.
  • Uber One members in the United States earn 6% Uber One credits on eligible rides taken. Uber One credits can be used on both trips and orders with Uber and Uber Eats.
    Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for your Uber One credits to deposit into your Wallet in the Uber App. Once Uber One credits are added to your Wallet, you can use them on your next ride or order.
    Uber One credits are earned on the subtotal of your final fare on eligible trips and excludes tolls, tips, taxes, and fees. You cannot earn additional Uber One credits on the portion of the final fare where prior Uber One credits were used. Your balance breakdown and transaction history with Uber One credits can be found in the Wallet section of your app.
    Uber One credits can be used on the trips or orders of your choice and will typically be used based on which expires first.
    Your Uber One credits will also expire if your membership concludes.

  • What is Uber One for Students?
    With Uber One for Students, eligible students can access benefits such as savings on Uber and Uber Eats for $4.99 a month or $48 annually.
    Uber One members receive the following benefits for rides and from merchants and stores marked with the gold Uber One icon beneath their name:
    6% back in Uber One credits on eligible rides
    $0 Delivery Fee plus up to 10% off eligible orders ($15 minimum order)
    Up to 10% off from participating non-grocery stores
    $0 Delivery Fee and 5% off from participating grocery stores ($35 minimum order)
    Taxes and fees, if applicable, don’t apply to order minimums. Membership savings are applied as reduced Service Fees. Other fees and exclusions may apply.
    You must be 18 years or older to apply for the student membership.

    Purchasing Uber One for students
    Eligible users can purchase Uber One for Students directly in the Uber Eats app:
    Select Account in the lower-right corner
    Select Uber One and then Continue
    Select Student and follow the prompts to enroll

    You won’t be charged until you verify your student status and any free trial ends.

    Accepted payment methods
    You can use a debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal to purchase or renew Uber One for Students. To register or use any of the mentioned payment methods:
    Go to the main menu of your account and select Uber One
    Go to Manage Membership
    In the payment details, select Change
    Any Uber Cash can be used towards the recurring student subscription. On the Manage membership page, you can update payment details to turn on Uber Cash.
    Verifying student eligibility
    To qualify for Uber One for Students, you’ll need to provide the following information:
    First name
    Last name
    Birthday (must be 18 years or older)
    School email address
    Organization (university)
    Once your information is verified, your membership will begin immediately. If we’re unable to verify you, we’ll request more information.
    By signing up, you acknowledge and agree that Uber will use your information to confirm your eligibility for Uber One for Students through a trusted partner and according to Uber’s Privacy Notice.
    Who verifies eligibility?
    We’ve partnered with SheerID to verify your eligibility for Uber One for Students.
    SheerID is an identity verification platform that specializes in identity attribute verification. We’ll share your first name and last name, birthday, school email address, and organization with SheerID. If SheerID can’t automatically confirm your student status, they may ask you to share additional information, including documents such as transcripts, college class schedules, or tuition receipts to support your application.
    SheerID will only use your information to verify your eligibility for Uber One for Students as instructed by Uber and will never rent or sell your information. SheerID doesn’t store documents or images uploaded to their system.

    Information SheerID keeps
    To help the annual renewal of Uber One for Students, SheerID will keep your information for up to 2 years, except for any documents you were asked to upload, which will be deleted within 24 hours. That way, you won’t have to re-enter your information every year to confirm you’re still eligible for Uber One for Students.
    If you don’t want SheerID to keep your information, you can request its deletion.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before your next membership renewal day, you may see a charge that will be automatically refunded.
    To cancel your membership in the Uber app:
    Select the profile icon
    Selct Uber One
    Scroll then select Manage Membership
    Select End Membership, then End Membership again to cancel your membership.
    If you’re on a free trial of Uber One and cancel your membership, then your membership benefits will end upon cancellation. For all other memberships, you’ll have access to your membership benefits until the end of the current billing period.
    If you acquired your free trial through a third-party promotional offer, you will retain access to your Membership Benefits for the duration of the promotional offer, after which your Membership Benefits will end.

  • What’s changing in my Uber One membership?
    We’re evolving the program to bring you enhanced value, including expanded access to $0 Delivery Fee merchants and access to upcoming travel benefits. As part of these changes, minimum basket size requirements will now vary and may be higher or lower than the minimum basket size amounts that you are currently used to seeing. You may also see additional fees across Uber Eats on certain orders outside of your standard delivery area or during high demand times. Your minimum basket size will be displayed on the storefront before you place your order. These changes will take effect on June 1, 2025.
    How will I know the minimum basket size for $0 Delivery Fee?
    You’ll see the specific minimum basket amount required for your order in the app before you place it. This amount may vary based on delivery distance, time of day, or other factors.
    Why am I seeing new or higher fees on my Uber Eats order?
    Some orders outside your standard delivery area or during peak times may include new, additional fees. These will always be shown upfront before you place your order. You can also see more information about fees across our app by visiting our What fees may apply to my order? page.
    Are my Uber One benefits going away?
    No. You will still enjoy core Uber One benefits like $0 Delivery Fee on eligible orders, reduction in fees, and exclusive member offers. Some benefits may be described differently from what you are used to seeing in the app as we improve the experience.
    Where can I see all my Uber One benefits?
    You can view your benefits at any time in the Uber or Uber Eats app by tapping your profile, selecting “Uber One,” and reviewing the benefits section.
    How do I cancel my Uber One membership?
    You can cancel anytime in the app. Go to your Uber One account, tap “Manage membership,” and select “End membership.” No further charges will apply after your current billing cycle ends.
