DAOU Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine, 2008 (750 ml)
It is a dark ruby-red wine with intense aromas of cherry, blackberry jam, dark chocolate, tobacco leaf, and desert sage. Savory notes of fennel, black olive, eucalyptus, and sandalwood emerge on the nose as secondary scents. On the palate, flavors of black raspberry, pomegranate, and cherry preserves meld seamlessly with tastes of crushed herbs, fig, and cranberry. This wine leaves hints of boysenberry, rhubarb, graphite, and dried thyme on its graceful finish. • Alcohol by volume: 14.5% • 2008
