Cooking instructions: for tender, fluffy rice: in 3-quart saucepan combine 2 cups water, 1 cup uncooked rice and if desired, 1 teaspoon salt. bring to boil. turn heat down low and cover with lid. simmer 15 minutes, or until all water is absorbed. serve. note: for high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 5 minutes longer cooking time. to retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking.
