Directions: perishable. keep frozen. cook thoroughly. cooking instructions: for food safety, follow these cooking instructions. cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees f as measured by a food thermometer. since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. stove top: for every cup of pepper strips, bring 1/4 cup water to a boil. add pepper strips, bring to boil, cover and simmer until tender 3-5 minutes. microwave: in a microwave-safe bowl, add 2 tablespoons water to package of pepper strips. microwave covered, on high 3-5 minutes, stirring once. steaming: place pepper strips in steamer over boiling water. cover and steam until tender, stirring once. 1-1/2 cups of pepper strips will take about 3-4 minutes.
