"Been eating here since I was 10 (20+ years), and I can say without hesitation that Purrto Vallarta is one of the best mexican restaurants around. Their supernachos are locally understood to be, flat out, the gold standard for a nacho (some like chicken but I would recommend the ground beef, personally). Their tacos are amazing (ground beef or shredded beef, depending on my mood), their fajitas are top notch (try Armando’s fajitas, they are great), their burritos are supreme (burrito Vallarta is amazing, nobody else makes anything like it). Sounds weird to say, but I sometimes crave their refried beans: if you like mexican, try them and you’ll understand. Their coleslaw is great, and my only complaint is that it should be on more things. Not online, but if you go in person check out their spicy mushroom salsa: they should bottle it and sell it."
