"I ordered this place despite it being more than 16 miles away because the reviews had me curious. We ordered fried chicken, ribs, catfish, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, baked beans, yams, and corn bread. First, let me say, I am very picky with my mac and cheese. I am often disappointed with restaurants because they lean on the yellowish soupy sauced pasta. THIS mac and cheese is the truth. It's easily the best I have had outside of my own home. The meats were all well-seasoned and cooked. The mashed potatoes were super savory. The yams were delish even though there was a spice (nutmeg?) that over powered for my taste. The cornbread is very cake-like and the baked beans are canned, however, I would be lying if I didn't say I've had worse. All in all this place is great and we will definitely take the trip to Valencia to try it fresh."

"Absolute southern perfection!! Everything is delicious!! Swai fish is amazing! Large portions and good prices. Mom & Pop shop I will definitely continue to support! Try all sides and all deserts too!! I wish they sold corn bread by the 1/2 & dozen because those are delicious too!!"
