Directions: boil: cooking jasmati® white rice • 1-1/2 cups water • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional) • 1 tsp. butter or olive oil (optional) • 1 cup rice bring water to a boil. add salt and butter or olive oil, if desired. stir in rice. cover with lid; reduce heat to low and simmer 15 minutes. remove from heat and let stand (covered) 5 minutes. fluff with a fork and serve. yields approximately 3-1/4 cups.
