"These folks make some of the best ribs, brisket and pulled pork in all of Portland. Plus they have a really nice selection of sauces for folks that prefer one regional style (eg mustard vs vinegar, etc). Look I rarely splurge and spend money on bbq but when I do, I want it to feel worth it. This is one of the only places where I order and feel like it was 100% worth the price. You can just tell when a restaurant really cares about their craft and is trying to make something special. This place does it."

"If you haven't tried Matt's BBQ, I suggest you do. The brisket and ribs are delicious and melt in your mouth. Theb homemade queso and freshly cooked to order tortilla chips are a hidden gem that you wouldn't expect to find at a BBQ restaurant. You can tell that the staff puts extra time and effort into making your meal exceptional. Kudos!"
