"Definitely authentic. Beans and rice taste like my Grandma's. Moved back in the area. First ate here when I was 16 and I'm about double that now. Food is absolutely delicious and perfect portions or some may think it's a bit more for the $; I don't see anyone complaining about that. The only thing I can complain about is I didn't get my Chile toreados. But that doesn't break the 5 stars. If you want to support your local restaurants, this is definitely one of best."

"Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I've tried a variety of things from Taqueria Chicago and every time I am more than satisfied. My favorites are the steak sopes and pork tacos. My son makes me order guacamole every time it's so tasty!"
