"The rose tteokbokki is absolutely delicious every time and generously portioned, with a good kick of spice that doesn't lay you out flat. Even the fish cakes aren't crazy fishy-tasting, with the long strips in particular having more of a smoked meat flavor, and any extra easily extracted if you don't want it heavily loaded. The dish overall has only the subtlest layer of fishy flavor, easily lost in the complexity of the rose sauce. I always enjoy getting the sausages add-on for a little extra smoky depth to the tteokbokki sauce, and the fried sweet potatoes are crazy good, whether on their own or dipped in the tteokbokki. They're also incredibly generous here and often throw in extra fried sweet potato slices with an order."

"Some pieces of the cabbage are in bad condition. The dark edges are visible even when sauce is on them. The spicy 'mala' tteokbokki I had yesterday was delicious. The only downside was the condition of the cabbage, but the taste was still great."
