Surprisingly, New York doesn't have many places that specialize in Japanese Souffle Pancakes...but there were a few. I chose to check out this place because of its vicinity to One World nearby...
It started badly. We got there super-early, around 10 am...and this staff member basically told us that they're opening in about 20 minutes...

The Good - Soufflé pancakes were great and so were the strawberry parfait. Overall a good concept and the busboy was extremely attentive in serving us. Actual wait staff was a bit lax and rarely showed up.

Overall, the best part of this restaurant is the SOHO vibe and how clean it is. The lights are bright and the decorations of neon lights, porcelain white plates, and exposed white painted bricks offer a fantastic ambience.
However, the food falls flat. The $18 pancakes were soggy, and filled with a cheap cream cheese...

I want to start off by saying that the strawberry shortcake pancakes were absolutely amazing. They are so fluffy, soft and melt in your mouth. The filling is so creamy and we literally ate the pancakes in under 3 minutes. That is how amazing those pancakes are.
