"The Misti DI Mare Filomena is my favorite entree at this consistently wonderful restaurant. It’s teaming with tender seafood — shrimp, mussels, calamari, scallops, clams — in a perfect marinara sauce with fettuccini that helps enhance the flavor of the side of broccoli I add for good health. It’s such a generous portion, I always have enough left over for another meal! Regardless, I always have room for the chocolate truffle cake, my favorite chocolate cake dessert in the DMV. Happy 65th birthday to me!"

"The sauce on the agnolotti alla carbonara is velvet heaven, the pasta itself is definitely fresh and fantastic, and the filling is beautifully seasoned. This dish was my first experience with Filomena, and it is so good I can’t even get past it to try something new. I’ve had this dish three times now and have no plans to branch out. I seriously cannot get enough of it."
