You Will Need: Global Treasures Mulling Spices, cider or red wine and a large pot. 1. Use 2 tbsp of mulling spices for each quart (4 cups) of liquid. You do not have to use the whole package at once. 2. Pour cider or red wine into a large pot. Add mulling spices directly to beverage, or in a tea ball or put spices into a 6 inch square cheese cloth and tie with string. 3. Simmer (do not boil). Heat 1/2 hour for a quart or an hour or more for a gallon. Remove spices from beverage by straining or removing. Save to reuse. 4. Serve warm or refrigerate, and re-warm when ready to serve. Enjoy the aroma! 5. Spices are re-useable. To store, drain spices, place in resealable bag, and freeze. Use several times until flavor declines, makes up to 12 quarts.
