Mavem is an artisanal, aged Portuguese spirit triple distilled and matured for 8 years in small French oak barrels. It is produced from young Portuguese wines selected for their quality and matured in palm oak casks using a dynamic maturation process in the Tejo valley at sea level. This process contributes to the rich flavor profile of the spirit, which includes tasting notes of floral nuances, vanilla, marzipan, figs, and orange, culminating in an elegant finish with hints of cherry, orange, and praline. With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 41%, Mavem offers a modern interpretation of traditional rich Arguadentes and can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as part of various cocktails.
