Plantation Aged 5 Years is a Barbados rum that undergoes a double maturation process. Initially, it is aged for three to four years in American oak barrels before being transferred to Ferrand Cognac casks, where it spends an additional one to two years maturing in Cognac, France. The aging process imparts a subtle spice and nutmeg palette to the rum, resulting in a round and elegant profile. It is well-suited for sipping neat or as a base in a variety of aged or 'gold' rum cocktails, including punches, daiquiris, and tiki drinks. The product is available in a 1.75 L volume.
