Tapatio Reposado Tequila is a meticulously crafted spirit that begins with carefully selected agave plants. These are slowly baked over a period of four days, then crushed to extract the juice, known as Mosto. The fermentation process utilizes an 80-year-old yeast culture, adding a unique depth to the tequila's flavor profile. Following fermentation, the liquid is double-distilled in traditional Tequilano Pot Stills. The tequila is then aged for eight months in previously used bourbon barrels, specifically from Jim Beam, which exceeds the minimum aging requirement of two months. This extended aging period allows the tequila to develop rich notes of caramel, oak, and smoke, culminating in a smooth finish upon tasting. The tequila is then minimally filtered before bottling to maintain its robust and distinct character. Alcohol by volume: 40%
