Easy to Use: McCormick Beef Base is simple and convenient to use. It can be substituted for broth or stock in most recipes. Just dissolve in boiling water. The recommended usage is 1 teaspoon per 1 cup of water or 1-1/2 tablespoons to make 1 quart of broth or stock. Substitute 1 teaspoon Beef Base for 1 bouillon cube. Usage Ideas: Great for sauces and gravies, soups and stews, casseroles and chili recipes. To add flavor to favorite side dishes, prepare rice or stuffing adding 1 teaspoon Beef Base for every 1 cup of water used for cooking. Prep: Dissolve Base in boiling water. 16 oz (1 lb) Base: 5 gallons water. 3 oz (1/3 cup) Base: 1 gallon. 1.5 oz (2-1/2 tbsp): 1/2 gallon (2 qts). 1-1/2 tbsp Base: 1 quart (4 cups) water. 2 tsp Base: 2 cups water. Flavorful Tip: A great way to make a rich beef stock in minutes. Gives a boost of flavor to beef and other meat dishes. Refrigerated after opening.
