Directions

For Pudding: 1. Add contents of this package to one gallon scalded (180-200 degrees F) milk. 2. Stir with wire whip until smooth. 3. Pour into shallow pans or individual custard cups. Chill for 1-2 hours or until set. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon, if desired. Yield: 33 - 4 oz servings or 44 - 3 oz servings. Powdered Milk: Thoroughly blend the contents of this package with 1 lb of powdered milk. Stir mixture into 3-1/4 quarts of hot water (180-200 degrees F) with a wire whip until smooth. Pour into serving dishes and chill until set. For Pie: 1. Prepare pie filling according to pudding directions. 2. Cool about 5 minutes after cooking. 3. Stir slightly, turn into baked pie shells and chill. 4. Top with meringue, whipped cream, chopped nuts, or fruit. 5. If desired, brown meringue briefly under a hot broiler. Yield: 6-9 inch pies, about 3/4 quart each.
