Simmer: All You Need: • 2 Tbsp. oil • 2 lbs. beef stew cubes • 3 cups water • 3 cups cut up vegetables, such as potatoes, carrots and onions • 1 cup frozen green peas • 1 pkg. Lawry's Beef Stew Spices & Seasoning Mix Makes 10 cups Stew. Heat oil in large saucepot over medium-high heat. Add beef; cook until browned on all sides. Stir in water and Spices & Seasonings Mix. Bring to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add vegetables; simmer 1 hour or until beef and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in peas. Let stand 5 minutes. Bonus Tip: Red Wine Beef Stew: Prepare according to directions decreasing water to 2 cups and adding 1 cup dry red wine.
