Pizzolato Paloma Rose Secco is a natural sparkling wine, crafted from 95% Glera and 5% Raboso grapes. Produced in the Veneto region, north of Treviso, the wine carries an alcohol content of 11% by volume with a residual sugar of 18 g/l and an acidity of 5.7 g/l. It should be served chilled, ideally at temperatures between 41-43ºF. The vineyard lies in fertile plains and slopes near the Piave River, with pebbly, well-draining soil contributing to the terroir. Winemaking begins with traditional white wine processes, with temperatures maintained at 15-17°C to protect the grape quality. The blend is then naturally fermented in steel tanks for a minimum of 60 days. Characterized by a topaz gray hue, the wine offers a bouquet of almonds, lemon chiffon, ripe apples, and summer peach. It has a silky, vibrant, and light body with a polished, medium-length finish. This Rose Secco is versatile, suitable for various occasions and can complement dishes such as sautéed vegetables, grilled fish, or light desserts. It can also be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif.
