Cooking Instructions: For food safety, cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only. All You Need: 1 package Signature Select Sloppy Joes Seasoning Mix; 1 lb. ground beef or turkey; 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste (Substitution: Use 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce in place of the tomato paste and water) 1-1/4 cups water; 8 hamburger buns. 1. Brown meat in large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat. 2. Stir in Seasoning Mix, tomato paste and water. 3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on hamburger buns. Makes 8 sandwiches Tasty Tips: Use as a topping for pizza, cooked pasta or rice. Serve on hot dog buns or with corn bread.
