Encapsulated in a 750ml bottle, the Smeriglio Sangiovese wine offers a bright ruby red hue, exuding sweet plum and black cherry aromas complemented by a delicate white blossom scent. Originating from Italy, the wine is full-bodied, characterized by ultra-fine tannins and a palate enriched with juicy fruits. It boasts an alcohol content of 14.5% Vol. The Sangiovese grape, central to this wine, thrives in the lime-clay soils of the Cortona region, benefiting from the significant temperature variations during the growing season which contribute to the grape's optimal ripening. The winemaking process includes maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 22 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in French oak. The aging process is meticulously divided between barrels for one year and bottles for six months, culminating in a wine that presents a balance of typical varietal color and acidity, while offering a notably soft experience on the palate. Upon decanting, the wine is ready to be enjoyed. Alcohol by volume: 16%
