Over 100 lbs: Add 1/2 cup for every 10 lbs of body weight over 100 lbs. Measurements are based on a standard 8 oz cup. Feeding Instructions: Daily intake varies depending on breed, age and activity level. Adjust the amount fed daily as needed to maintain an optimum body condition. Puppies may need up to twice the recommended daily amount of an adult of the same weight. Pregnant or lactating females may need up to 3 times the adult daily recommendations. Daily total recommendations can be divided into multiple smaller feedings. Always introduce new diets gradually. Provide plenty of fresh water at all times. From weaning to six months of age, feed 2 times the adult recommended amount divided into 3 feedings per day. Over 6 months of age, feed 1.5 times the adult recommended amount divided into 2 feedings per day.
