Claude Riffault Sancerre Les Boucauds is a Sauvignon Blanc, with vines aged between 10 and 50 years, flourishing in clay-limestone marl soil known for its origins in the Jurassic era. This soil composition encourages deep rooting of vines, contributing fullness and richness to the wine, while the limestone and shell sediments impart a note of fine minerality. Vinification is split evenly between stainless steel vats and barrels, followed by an ageing process of 7 to 8 months. Upon tasting, the wine presents white fruit and citrus aromas, a full-bodied palate, and a refreshing blend of minerality and acidity. It pairs well with shellfish or fish dishes. Alcohol by volume: 13%
