Quality of the sushi was amazing. For the amount of food we got and price, it was a great deal!

For more than twenty years this has been my go-to local sushi place, and despite changing names and ownership a couple of times in the interim, the quality and value for money have remained consistent. \nStaff have almost always been Japanese ex-pats (or visiting students), and take pride in their friendly, efficient, and courteous service. \nThe food is good to great, with a wide selection of maki, sashimi, and hot dishes. Portion sizes are generous. We usually order the same thing every time, and the quality is consistent from one visit to the next. \nIt may not be the *best* Japanese food in the city, but it's more than worth the price point.

The restaurant was swamped with take out/delivery orders, plus the seated guests. This meant that the delivery was not as prompt as normal, so Monkey Sushi snuck in some spring rolls for us! Absolutely wonderful restaurant!
