From serving in the Navy in Italy to serving Italian specialties (and more) via Uber Eats across his Orange Park, Florida community, John has always been driven by compassion.
“When I deliver food to people that are homebound and can’t get out, I feel that I am providing a service that is much more than a convenience—for some, it’s all they have,” John says. “I also enjoy delivering to those who want to try something new. Uber Eats has saved the day for people who want to enjoy what they’re eating but can’t (or don’t want to) go out and get it.”
His connection with food started young, too. John was born and raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania, “Chocolate Town USA!” he explains proudly. While he likes delivering others’ culinary creations, John prefers to whip up his own.
“I love cooking, especially grilling outside when the weather is nice,” he says.
If his cooking is as impressive as his Uber Eats delivery rating (his 3,315 customers have cheered him on to an impressive 100 percent “thumbs up” approval rating!), we want to come over for dinner.
To celebrate his dedication, we’ve crowned John one of four Uber Eats “MVPs of March Madness® ” (Most Valuable Partners) and to show our appreciation, he’ll be heading to March Madness® games in Jacksonville. He’ll surely be able to relate to the hustle on the court. In addition to being a fan-favorite Uber Eats delivery partner, John is on the way to earning his Master’s degree. In five years, he hopes to act as a safety specialist at a top company.
In the meantime, he can ensure all are safe on the court at March Madness®.
