If you’re craving good eats, but not feeling so gung-ho about getting dressed up and fighting the crowds, turn to Philly’s freshest Uber Eats partners. Bar food, bowls, and bite-sized savory snacks can now be yours without stepping foot beyond your front door.

Poke Bros

Since 2006, the Bros have been on a quest to bring California’s poke trend westward. We say mission: accomplished with their standout sushi in a bowl that now is available at 24 locations and counting. The Philadelphia outpost offers unforgettably-named options including Johnny Utah (salmon, avocado, edamame, cucumber, masago, OG sauce, and sriracha aioli), The Shaka (chicken, edamame, carrots, avocado, green onion, cucumber, crab stick, OG sauce, sweet soy, and sriracha aioli), and High Tide (chicken, shrimp, edamame, carrots, pineapple, corn, green onion, cucumber, avocado, OG sauce, sweet soy, and sriracha aioli). Pair any of the above with a Mochi Ice Cream sampler and prepare to be very, very pleased about the successful due-west pursuit.

Pineville Tavern

Prepare to enroll on Comfort Food 101 with a meal from this 30-years-strong tavern. Rather than focusing on just one culinary tradition, they offer a spread of the best soul-soothing food from countries around the globe. We can’t pick a favorite, but challenge you to eat your way through our most rave-worthy recipes in the craveable “curriculum:”

  • Pickle-Brined Fried Chicken
  • Steak Frites
  • Handmade Ravioli and Meatball Pasta
  • Cheesesteak Egg Rolls
  • Polenta Fries
  • Fried Bologna Sandwich

Pinch Dumplings

Feeling down in the dumps? Cheer up with a comforting order of smile-shaped dumplings and a bubble(y) tea. Each of the Chinese hand-pinched pockets are made with care—and made fresh daily with local ingredients. They have the classics, ranging from Pork and Cabbage to Chicken and Mushrooms, but we think you probably have enough on your mind to choose just one. Ask for a Dumpling Sampler for a taste of two of each of Pinch’s signature creations (centered around beef, pork, veggies, and chicken). The eight-piece feast will surely bring a smile to your face.

Los Hermanos Burrito

Breakfast tacos are good, true. But you know what’s even better? All-Day Breakfast Burritos stuffed to the brim with sausage, scrambled egg, beans, and more, a la Los Hermanos Burrito. The menu at this spot that puts all things tortilla-ed in the spotlight also includes burrito options for vegetarians (Berenjena, with eggplant, red onions, mushrooms, roasted peppers, rice, beans, and pepperjack cheese), those with ample amounts of hometown pride (Philly, with cheese steak, beans, rice, and provolone cheese), and wanderlusters wishing for a trip to the west coast (Tacos California, with al pastor, pineapple, rice, beans, and pepperjack cheese).

Roast+Chop

Slow roasting and fresh-chopped ingredients are the two driving principles behind this healthy brand—and its name. If you dig dips, you’re in luck: Many of the menu items are built around a pool of guacamole or hummus. Take the Hummus and Grass-Fed Steak Bowl that starts with a big scoop of hummus. From there, a mouthwatering “moat” of sorts is made with steak, flatbread, garlic green beans, roasted broccoli, and roasted mushrooms. For even more veggies, check out the ample salad section (our fave is the Grilled Miso Salmon Salad, which packs a lot of nutrition in one bowl via spring mix, pumpkin seeds, jicama slaw, herb salad, roasted vegetables, and more).
