Celebrate February Food Holidays with Uber Eats

There’s a food holiday for just about every day of the year, which provides the perfect excuse to gorge on whatever food day it is with little-to-no guilt. With February full of some especially tasty tributes, we narrowed them down to the very best for you, along with where to eat and celebrate them in SoCal.

Here are a few days to mark in your calendar:

February 13: National Tortellini Day If hearty, generous Italian food is what you’re after, Greenwich Village Pizza’s cheese tortellini is for you. The double chocolate muffin is dense and gooey, and is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Meanwhile, savory muffins are a highlight at Cafe Gratitude, with their “Beautiful” daily muffin always baked fresh and fluffy. You’ll feel good about it too, knowing it’s gluten-free and vegan! Need more recommendations? The fluffy blueberry muffin and banana muffin from Simon Says, sprinkled with sugar on top and served warm, is also a winner. We think it tastes even better than it sounds. February 24: National Tortilla Chip Day

One outing to Tocaya Organica is guaranteed to have you returning home and ridding your pantry of all Doritos tortilla chips. Be sure to pair the corn chips with their fresh and spicy guacamole. Of course, you’ll also find a great assortment of other mexican fare, like the Baja Chipotle Tacos and Fajita Burritos. If you’re after a more authentic taste of Mexican food, with the heart, soul and spice that comes with it, then El Tarasco is the restaurant for you. Expect mammoth tortillas and homemade salsa. It’s no secret San Diego has some of the best Mexican food in the country, and at Del Sur Mexican Cantina the nachos are simple and delicious. Choose your protein along with a three cheese mix and salsa fresca, house pickled jalapenos, beans, avo serrano sauce and poblano crema.
