Want to team up with us? Check out our Restaurant Partner FAQ
If you’re thinking about joining Uber Eats as a restaurant partner, we’ve got the answers to some of our most commonly asked questions below to help you get started.
What does it cost?
Let’s get down to business. Uber Eats is designed to be an affordable option for restaurants of all sizes – but it’s not simply a one-size-fits-all operation. Get in touch with our team and they’ll be able to give you a personalised quote depending on the way you want to use the platform and the kind of support you’ll need.
Will I have to change the way my restaurant works?
Uber Eats operates alongside your in-house orders - designed to fit around you so there’s nothing you need to change. The only difference is that a courier will come to collect your food, taking it directly to your customers. Some restaurants find the data and customer feedback that Uber Eats provides particularly useful, helping them to adapt popular menu items accordingly.
What if my restaurant’s too busy to take Uber Eats orders?
We understand that customer traffic can fluctuate and can sometimes be unpredictable, which is why Uber Eats is designed to give you flexibility. You can pause the service and temporarily stop taking orders at any time. When things quieten down again in-store, simply un-pause and resume taking orders as normal.
What if I have a problem or a question about Uber Eats?
Our support team is available seven days a week to answer any queries you might have. You can also find answers to our most commonly asked questions on our website. Have a look in the FAQ section for technical help, account, payment support and more. You can also leave us a message either on the website or directly through the app to get a personal response from one of our experts.
What other benefits do I get from Uber Eats?
For restaurant partners, one of the best things about working with Uber Eats is the access they get to valuable insights and data. As well as customer reviews, you can see what your best-sellers are, when you get the most orders, how quickly your team is working and more. Access to the Uber Eats platform also gives you another avenue to reach customers and increase your restaurant sales.
What if my restaurant doesn’t usually deliver?
What a good time to start! We work with a variety of partners who have different levels of experience and ways of working. If you’re new to delivery, our team can help set you up and, if you choose Uber Eats, you’ll have a ready-built system to work with and a team of couriers waiting to collect your orders. It’s a great way for first-time takeaways to get started with minimum stress.
What if my restaurant already has a delivery system?
Don’t worry – we don’t have to be exclusive. You can continue with other delivery methods as well as Uber Eats. Get in touch with our team and they can talk you through the benefits of using Uber Eats as well as providing real case studies where you can see the results for yourself.
